The mission of Florida Family Literacy Center Inc is to empower families by enhancing their literacy skills and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
We achieved our mission by providing educational opportunities for both parents and children, recognizing that a family's literacy environment significantly impacts a child's success in school and beyond. Our Family literacy programs aim to break cycles of poverty and illiteracy by equipping parents with the tools and knowledge to support their children's learning and by improving their own educational and economic prospects. At Florida Family Literacy center, we believe that strong literacy skills are the foundation for lifelong learning and success.
We provide free and low cost tutoring for children including special needs children, who are struggling in school. Some of our other programs include an Educational Enhancement and Activity center, Homework Assistance, Coding Classes, Music,Drama, Poetry, Parents Night Out and After School Children Care!
