Become a Certified Paraprofessional!

 Florida Family Literacy Center offers  Paraprofessional Certification Course in Florida. We will prepare you to meet specific education and testing requirements in English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Math and Study Skills.  Our Certification programs  focuses on topics like child development, classroom management, and supporting students with disabilities.   We offer online and in-person training programs specifically designed for paraprofessionals. Our programs cover topics like: 

• Understanding the roles and responsibilities of a paraprofessional. 
• Child development benchmarks. 
• Classroom management strategies and positive behavior support. 
• Supporting students with disabilities. 
• Instructional support techniques. 

  This certification will prepare you for the ETS ParaPro Assessment, a Praxis exam needed to work as a teacher's aide. 

 Schools need paraprofessionals! This course will prepare you for the ETS ParaPro Assessment exam, so you can work as a teacher's aide. You'll learn how these paraprofessional educators assist with classroom instruction and build a foundation in educational principles like classroom management. Most importantly, you'll develop strategies to support students of different learning abilities in reading, writing, and math.
